IGT Conference 08
The 4th International Gas Turbine Conference

The Future of Gas Turbine Technology
15-16 October 2008, Brussels, Belgium

The conference will bring together engineers, scientists and members of public institutions from Europe, Asia and the US to present the current state-of-art and market trends and direction in gas turbine technologies from a user's perspective. The 4th International Gas Turbine Conference will provide a unique occasion to gather stakeholders across the entire gas turbine value chain, share the latest technology development and build strong link between different actors involved in gas turbine R&D and energy/environment/research policy.

Gas turbine, already a major and important power conversion technology, has become more than relevant in a world of energy scarcity and climate change. Burning fuels of different mix (renewables, biomass, gas and oil), energy efficiency in power generation, emission reduction and carbon capture, all call for rapid development and advancement in many gas turbine technologies.

The Conference is organised by the European Turbine Network - a European non-profit association active in gas turbine R&D bringing together 69 members from 16 European countries.
